ThirdVibe Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
ThirdVibe is a platform that connects users for events, meetups, house parties, trips, and other social experiences. ThirdVibe acts only as a facilitator and does not organize events directly. By using ThirdVibe, you acknowledge and agree that:
- ThirdVibe charges a 21% commission on all bookings.
- All payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways.
- ThirdVibe does not provide refunds for subscriptions or service fees.
- All refunds depend solely on the host’s cancellation and refund policy.
2. Event Booking Refunds
Refunds for event bookings are subject to the following rules:
- Guest-initiated cancellations: Guests who cancel a confirmed booking at least 48 hours before the event start time may be eligible for a refund according to the host’s policy. ThirdVibe will deduct its 21% commission from any refunded amount.
- Guests who cancel less than 48 hours before the event start time are not eligible for any refund.
- If guest cancellations cause the minimum number of participants not to be met (as set by the host), the host may choose to proceed or cancel the event. If the host cancels in such cases, the guests will receive refunds based on the host’s policy.
3. Host-Initiated Cancellations
- Hosts may cancel events, but all affected guests will receive a full refund minus ThirdVibe's commission.
- Hosts who cancel multiple events frequently may face penalties, including temporary suspension of hosting privileges.
- Hosts are encouraged to honor events even if minimum participation is not met to maintain ratings. ThirdVibe may, at its discretion, share a portion of service fees with the host in such situations.
4. Subscription Fees
All subscription fees on ThirdVibe are non-refundable. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that no refunds will be issued for any reason, including unused subscription time or cancellation of your account.
5. ThirdVibe Commission
ThirdVibe collects a 21% commission on all bookings. This commission is non-refundable under any circumstances.
6. Refund Process
- Refunds, if applicable, are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- ThirdVibe is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors.
- All refunds are subject to deduction of the 21% commission and any applicable taxes or fees.
7. Extenuating Circumstances
ThirdVibe or the host may cancel events due to extenuating circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Unexpected illness, injury, or death of a host or guest.
- Severe weather conditions or natural disasters.
- Government restrictions, safety risks, or legal orders.
In such cases, guests may receive refunds according to the host’s cancellation policy, and ThirdVibe may withhold or adjust commissions as necessary.
8. General Terms
- ThirdVibe is not liable for disputes between hosts and guests.
- ThirdVibe is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss during events.
- Refunds depend entirely on the host’s policies; ThirdVibe only facilitates payments and communications.
- By using ThirdVibe, guests and hosts agree to abide by this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
